Hopi Ear Candling

Hopi Ear Candling is an ancient and natural therapy, handed down by many civilisations. Hopi ear candles are hollow tubes made from natural products and are used to treat a wide range of symptoms.

Our Hopi Course is designed for those looking to offer an alternative holistic treatment to their clients. This as an ideal treatment for those who struggle with headaches, congestion of the ears or sinuses, pressure in the ears, aiding relaxation. 

As part of this course you will also learn a pressure point sinus drainage massage giving added luxury to your holistic treatment. You will also learn the theory and safety procedures involved in practising Hopi to an professional standard.

Content - This is a 1.5 days course that will teach you the principles of ear candling, ear conditions, symptoms relieved, how to carry out a Hopi treatment and facial massage.

The course covers some theory but is mainly practical work and includes 12 case studies. You will be required to complete both theory and practical assessments before your Diploma can be awarded. By the end of the course, you will know:

  • History & benefits of Hopi ear candling

  • How to carry out a consultation

  • Equipment needed

  • Massage movements

  • How to carry out a Hopi treatment

  • Professional Ethics/Code of Practise/Working Environment

  • Insurance and how to obtain it

Pre-requisite - A Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (or equivalent) is required.  Amy's Beauty, Holistic and Training offers an online Anatomy and Physiology course. However, you will need to have completed A&P training before you start the Hopi Ear Candling course.

Booking & Payment - Complete the online booking form and an invoice will be sent to you. We accept payment by Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal (please note there is a £5 admin fee for payments by credit/debit card and PayPal). If you wish to pay by instalments, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, Payment in full must be made 2 weeks before training commences.

Once your booking form and payment/deposit has been received, confirmation of your place on the course will be sent.
